Cepello shows you where the habitat is favourable to edible mushrooms, all over Switzerland, and when the weather is right to go.
HOW IT WORKS
Cepello combines public data (elevation, slope, aspect, tree species, bedrock, soil acidity, vegetation belt) to compute a habitat score for each species, in squares of 10 to 50 m depending on the data. The weather of the last days (triggering rain, moisture, temperatures) then gives a flush index for today and the next 7 days.
SPECIES
Porcini (penny bun), morel, chanterelle, black trumpet (horn of plenty).

OFFICIAL SOURCES
Cantonal rules summarise official texts; each canton links to its own source inside the app (Info > Picking rules). Federal basis: https://www.fedlex.admin.ch/eli/cc/24/233_245_233/en
Cepello is an independent app by Bluehood Games. It does not come from, and does not represent, any public authority. Regulatory information is indicative; only the official texts are binding.
GOOD TO KNOW
Cepello does not identify mushrooms and does not guarantee any harvest. Have your pick checked by an official mushroom inspector (VAPKO). Respect the quantities and periods allowed in your canton.
