Here is my honest opinion. The free version is not as good as it would seem, though you do get some access to more than 90% of the Characters with some ads. I would like to point out that the premium would make the experience better, though not the quality or memory of said Characters. In summary, if you want a quick break and you want to talk to some random bots, this would be the app to use, though the premium version is not recommended since there are better apps. 3 stars for the free version

Right after I typed my very first message, it told me I needed to buy the PRO version before I was able to chat. Wants money right off the bat! I wasn't even able to see what the app was all about or what its features or capabilities were. And it only gives you 7 messages to start out with anyway. Can't even watch ads to acquire messages. Ouch! That's fine though. There's tons of far better apps out there that are free, or cost very little. These guys should change their name to Greedy: AI.

Too few credits, pro doesn't come with any real perks except access to photos and a few extra characters. Also, the selection is quite small, all app-owned and doesn't have any tool or search bar to find and interact with user-created characters. You can make your own but it only lets you have one so you have to delete the current bot in order to make new ones. Will definitely be sticking to character.ai moving forward since they have no message limit.
