MAIAM (AI-Assisted Magnetic Particle Inspection) is an innovative mobile application developed by Cetim to assist NDT inspectors in detecting indications during fluorescence magnetic particle inspections.
Thanks to artificial intelligence, MAIAM automatically frames the indications visible on parts in real time, thus facilitating analysis and decision-making.
Main features:
AI-assisted detection of indications in fluorescence magnetic particle inspection.
Automatic framing of indications in real time.
Usable in production or maintenance, on tablets or smartphones.
Important information:
MAIAM is an operator assistance tool dedicated to Non-Destructive Testing applications using fluorescence magnetic particle inspection. The results are predictive, based on an artificial intelligence model trained on a finite dataset. The algorithm is robust and validated by Cetim, but errors are still possible. The application should only be used for assistance purposes by an ISO 9712 certified operator. It is not a substitute for performance testing or best practices in inspection. Data must be rechecked at each inspection. Cetim cannot be held liable for the consequences of misuse of the results provided by the application.
The MAIAM application is for demonstration purposes only. The user agrees not to enter, store, or transmit confidential, sensitive, or critical data in reports, screenshots, or detection pages. Cetim disclaims all liability regarding the hosting and storage of data, particularly in the event of loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure. Any uploaded data is protected only by user-defined code, without any additional guarantee of security or confidentiality.
Regarding the performance and results of the artificial intelligence model, users can contact Cetim at maiam@cetim.fr to evaluate or test other models.
The model embedded in the mobile application is a lightweight version, whose robustness may be less than that of models deployed on a PC environment.
