Apparently the sign up option is for show as even after doing so and verifying it still doesn't let you login with valid details. Update enabled login, but it kept saying verification link expured till I copy pasted it into a browser, as it was going straight to the app otherwise.

Terrible support: be wary that when you buy from CEX you could be buying lost property. Recently when trying to warn them of a lost item, they did everything they could to deny responsibility asking for a Crime Reference Number for a crime that doesn't exist. This means that they can buy & sell lost items acquired by "theft by finding" with plausible deniability. Subsequent items could then be locked & you'd technically be in possession of illicit property as a result of dodgy trading practices.

Hi Scott, Unlike phones verified by IMEI, there’s no central database to check if a console is stolen. Since we can’t confirm ownership at the point of sale, we advise customers to contact us with a police reference number so we can flag the device and notify authorities if it’s brought in. - Derek

Very disappointing experience with CEX. I ordered a Samsung 970 online, waited almost 2 weeks, but it never arrived. When I visited the store, they told me the item was not even in stock. It was clearly shown as available when I paid, so why charge me in the first place? They blamed a “system glitch,” which is not acceptable. Wasted my time and no proper accountability. Poor service. DO NOT RECOMMEND
