Repeated difficulties just logging in. Poor recognition of check image required numerous photos. Wasted 30 minutes depositing one check. Whoever at CFG Bank chose this vendor for CFG's mobile banking app did not bother to beta test it and should look for a different job.

Unfortunately the app crashes immediately when opening it on my Pixel 5 device with USB debugging enabled. USB debugging is necessary to use my phone for Android development. I have not observed this issue with any other bank app. CFG has a promising product with the highest money market APY accounts currently in the US so I hope they improve their tech. Also, there is no two-factor authentication (TFA) which is a big opportunity to improve their security as most bank accounts offer this.

Constant login issue on website. No after hours or weekend customer service. No external transfers available on mobile app most of the times. Customers service is only available during business hours and the wait time easily exceeds 30 minutes to talk to someone. Not enough customer service reps.
