Coram Deo (Latin: Coram Deo, pre-God consciousness) means the presence of God or pre-temple thought. It is a compound word of two Latin words, Coram and Deus. The Latin word Coram means ‘in the presence of’, and the word Deo is an ablative form of Deus (God). These two words are were combined to become Coram Deo. Biblical characters who were conscious of themselves 『before God』 no matter when, where, or what they did were Joseph and Daniel. They lived a perfect life 『before God』 throughout their lives.
