Mark directly on the test paper and scan for automatic grading.
There is no need to distribute separate answer sheets. Students simply mark their answers on the test paper they just solved, scan it with their phone, and submit it. Check handles both the grading and the analysis of incorrect answer types.
Check is an automatic test paper grading app designed for teachers at academies, tutoring centers, and study rooms. Tests remain on paper, just as they are now. Check takes care of collecting, grading, organizing, and notifying others.
■ Mark Directly on Test Paper, Scan for Automatic Grading
As students solve problems, they mark their chosen answers directly onto the test paper. Once finished, they scan one page at a time with their phone and submit it. The app notifies them which page to scan next. Since there is no step of copying answers, there are no mistakes that can occur during the transfer process.
Before submission, students review the read answers one by one and correct them themselves. Since the grade is based on the answers verified by the student, the need to check answers again later is reduced.
**Check: Mark directly on the test paper and scan to get automatic grading.** ■ Scan Collected Test Papers All at Once
Once the exam is over, collect the test papers and scan them using a multifunction printer or scanner. When you upload the PDF file from your PC, the entire class is graded at once. Teachers verify whose paper belongs to whom, and once the results are released, students and parents can view them on the app.
■ Upload Used Test Paper File to Receive Student Version
If you upload the original file of your used test paper from your PC, we create a student version where students can mark their answers, excluding the correct answers and explanations. The question content remains exactly as uploaded.
Question numbers, correct answers, and question type names are automatically retrieved. Teachers only need to check the retrieved answers once and print.
■ Uploaded Test Paper Files Are Not Saved
The file is deleted immediately after being converted to the student version. Only the correct answers, question types, and explanations are retrieved.
■ Questions the Entire Class Was Confused With, and Question Types Where Errors Were Concentrated
Once grading is complete, we compile the most frequently missed questions into a "Most Missed Questions" list. This includes the correct answer rate for each question, as well as which answer choices the students who got them wrong were concentrated on. Where the next lesson begins is determined.
■ Collect incorrect answers by type, and start the next lesson with the types you got wrong.
The correct answer rates by type are displayed exactly as the teacher named them. If you click on a question, you can see which type you got stuck on and who answered it wrong. Remedial lessons start with your weaknesses.
■ Identify who hasn't submitted, even by name.
The names of students who haven't submitted yet appear at the very top of the submission status. You don't need to check on your phone or ask each student individually.
■ If you entered the wrong answer, just correct it.
Even answers already submitted are re-graded.
■ Parents can view results directly via the app without needing a separate report card.
Once the test is completed and results are released, connected parents can view their child's score, incorrect questions, and error types directly within the app. There is no need to organize and send the results separately.
■ Results without rankings or class averages.
Student scores are viewed only by the student, the teacher, and the parents. There is no comparison with other children on the student and parent screens. The focus is solely on the child's own progress. · Students must sign up using a teacher code or invitation link, and the teacher must approve the connection to take the test.
· Parents must request a connection from their child, and the child must accept to view the results.
· Student test papers do not include answers or explanations, and the correct answers are not visible to the student until the results are released.
■ No More Worries About Test Paper Photos, Automatic Deletion
Photos taken are stored for a set period and are automatically deleted thereafter. The retention period can be viewed in the Privacy Policy.
■ Another Method — Answer Sheet Grading
If you do not have a test paper file or only have a PDF, or if you are using a pre-printed test paper, please print out the answer sheets separately and distribute them. If the student marks on the answer sheet and prints it out, it will be automatically graded in the same way. You can also simply enter the answers directly from a PC without a file.
■ How to Get Started
1. You will receive a teacher code upon signing up. Please share the code or invitation link with the student.
2. Upload the test paper file from your PC, check the read-in answers, and print the test paper.
3. The student marks the answers on the test paper. Students can take a picture of each page with their phones, or the teacher can collect them, scan them, and upload them all at once.
4. The teacher checks who submitted the papers on their phone, and then checks the results for each question and the types of incorrect answers on their PC.
5. Once the results are released, students and parents can check them on the app.
