DualShot: Reels Camera

About this app

DualShot is the free reels camera built for creators. Record with both cameras at once, look naturally great, and add animated English or Hinglish captions — all on your phone.

BOTH CAMERAS, ONE REEL
• Record front and back cameras together (on phones that support it)
• 7 layouts: Bubble, Card, Big Square, Half & Half, Side by Side, Square + Strip, Solo
• Drag and pinch the bubble, drag the split divider, swap cameras live
• Switch between Selfie, Back and Dual between takes

LOOK YOUR BEST, NATURALLY
• Clear Skin: face-aware smoothing that touches only skin — eyes, lips, hair and background stay sharp
• Reel Look: subtle, skin-safe vibrance, warmth and contrast with a single slider
• Recorded clean, so you can fine-tune the look later in the editor

BUILT FOR TALKING REELS
• Teleprompter near the lens that scrolls while you record
• Hands-free: hold up an open palm to start (with countdown) and again to stop
• Countdown timer and auto-stop at 15s, 30s, 60s, 90s or 3 min
• Record in takes, delete the last take, and line up shots with the Ghost overlay
• Tap to focus, long-press for AE/AF lock, exposure slider, pinch to zoom
• 1080p or 4K, up to 60 fps, external & Bluetooth mics, live audio meter

ANIMATED CAPTIONS IN ENGLISH & HINGLISH
• Word-by-word captions that highlight as you speak
• Hinglish in Roman script — "aaj hum seekhenge" — or English
• 5 caption styles plus fonts, colours, size and position
• Edit any caption line and nudge timing
• Powered by Sarvam AI with your own free key; add an optional OpenAI key for word-perfect timing

EDIT IN SECONDS
• Trim, split, speed, volume, reorder, undo/redo
• Text overlays you can drag on the video
• Auto-cut pauses (Natural, Tight or Fast)
• Voice cleanup for clearer, punchier audio
• Voiceover recording with automatic ducking
• AI hook, caption and hashtag writer
• Pick a cover frame and export 9:16 in 1080p or 4K to your gallery, Instagram or YouTube

PRIVATE & FREE
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• Your videos never leave your phone unless you share them
• AI features use your own keys, stored encrypted on your device

What’s new

• Fixed: Dual mode freezing on some phones (e.g. Realme, other MediaTek devices). If your phone can't run both cameras together, DualShot now switches to a single camera instead of getting stuck
• Dual now retries at a compatible quality before giving up
