About this game

Paston Blocks is an arcade stacking game based on rhythm, precision, and careful platform control. Catch falling colored cubes, place them on your moving platform, and gradually build an ever-taller tower. Each successful catch adds another block to the structure, while missed cubes reduce your remaining lives. Reach the required tower height to complete the current level and move on to a more demanding stacking challenge.

Controlling the platform is simple and precise. Tap the screen and move your finger horizontally to position the platform under each falling cube. The platform follows your movement around the play area, allowing you to adjust its position as the block descends. Precise alignment becomes increasingly important as the tower grows and the pace changes.

Each cube appears above the current tower and falls from a slightly different horizontal position. Move the platform to the correct spot before the cube reaches the structure. A successful catch places the block on top of the existing tower, increasing its height. If you fail to catch it, you lose a life and the current combo resets.

Paston Blocks uses various block colors to add another scoring element to each game. Catching consecutive cubes of the same color increases the combo. Maintaining this sequence grants bonus points, while switching to a different color starts a new chain. Thus, each successful capture contributes to the tower's progress and also offers opportunities to improve the current score.

Tower balance is also important. Blocks aren't always placed exactly in the center, so several captures near the edges can gradually create an unstable structure. If the tower's average tilt becomes too great, a life is lost and the last block can be removed. Therefore, players must consider both capturing the next cube and the overall stability of the structure.

Each level has a target tower height. When enough cubes have been stacked, the level is complete, and the next stage begins with an empty tower. Your score and remaining lives carry over to the next level, and you can regain a life after successfully completing a stage, up to the initial limit corresponding to the selected difficulty.

Paston Blocks includes three difficulty levels with different starting conditions. Easy starts with five lives, a wider platform, slower falling cubes, and an eight-block target. Medium offers three lives, a balanced speed, and a ten-block target. Hard starts with two lives, faster cubes, a narrower platform, and a twelve-block target.

Paston Blocks focuses on clear, skill-based mechanics without complicated controls. Players can concentrate on tracking the falling cubes, adjusting the platform, maintaining tower stability, and reaching the required height. As the pace increases, these familiar actions require faster reactions and more precise placement.

Short games are easy to start, while progressive levels offer room for longer attempts. Players can continue building level after level while trying to conserve lives, maintain useful combos, and improve their score through accurate catches.

Paston Blocks combines simple platforming with timing falling blocks, tower building, color combos, balance management, and progressive difficulty. Each completed tower leads to a faster, higher challenge, offering another chance to perfect your timing, control the platform more precisely, and discover how many levels you can complete.
