Drove up to a charger at Disney Springs. Needed to install the app and create an account. Ok, fine. Then I need to enter my credit card info: perfectly reasonable. I go to pay, and get "could not add funds, verify card on file". I tried re-entering the info; same result. I even called their support line and got placed on hold. At this point: just not worth it.

Horrible App, horrible company. Downloaded to use one of their chargers, can only use by pre-funding your account. I put in the suggested starting amount of$25, more than enough for the one charge up I needed, but then this app declined to let me charge because $25 was not enough to start charging, the least I could add was $20, so after putting in $45, then the charger didn't even work! There's no direct customer servic either. The auto-refill option stays on no matter what you select too!

Andy, on 8/17 we pushed an app update that addresses all the issues you encountered. Worthless. I have had an all electric car for almost 10 years. ChargeUp is by far the worst app of all. I understand not all stations can be free but making it a $20 minimum with a .75 cent fee is just ridiculous. It's easier for me to just drive to a better ev charging network. Plus even if you pay the majority of the stations are offline and the app is so bad it cannot even can station QR codes or work by tapping your phone like the ChargePoint app. Do not depend on these stations
