About this app

Charmetrica is a carbon credit calculator for biomass pyrolysis.

The app estimates how much carbon dioxide you remove from the atmosphere by turning biomass into biochar, and the revenue range this could fall into.

Only the text of the Regulation and the decisions of the competent bodies have legal force; actual issuance of certificates requires an independent audit and registration in the Union registry.

Typical values. The feedstock and biochar properties, coefficients and prices preset in the app are illustrative and serve only as a starting point. Real values depend on the feedstock, the equipment, the process regime, storage conditions and the market, and may differ substantially. Determining the input data and verifying the result are the user's responsibility.
