ChartWise turns market history and chart reading into a fast, tap‑to‑play quiz.
Look at a real (anonymized, normalized) price chart, guess what happened next, then
reveal the actual stock, the moment in history, and a short learning card. It's a game
about what already happened — not a prediction tool.
Two ways to play
Market History: A chart shows a stock's normalized closing prices over 100 trading
days. Pick how it actually performed over the following 3 months — big gain, gain,
flat, or decline — then see the real ticker, the historical context (dot‑com peak, the
2008 crisis, the 2023 AI boom, and many ordinary, non‑headline windows too), and the
real forward result.
Chart & Indicator ID: Identify candlesticks (doji, hammer, marubozu, engulfing),
chart patterns (head & shoulders, double top/bottom, cup & handle, triangles), and
indicators (RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, volume) from clean diagrams, with a plain
explanation every time.
Built to actually teach
Every question ends with a factual learning card.
Correct answers in the history mode are computed from real historical data — these are
verifiable facts, not opinions or forecasts.
Track your accuracy overall, by category, and by difficulty, plus a "review success"
count for questions you missed and later got right.
Daily Challenge
Five fresh questions every day, the same for everyone, with a spoiler‑free shareable
result card and a participation streak.
