ChatRead opens chat exports from WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram and LINE, and lets you read them comfortably on your phone — with the familiar bubble layout, full search, quick navigation by month, and detailed chat statistics.

WHY USE CHATREAD
Messaging apps let you export a conversation to a file, but that file is hard to read on its own. ChatRead turns it into a proper, scrollable chat view so you can read, search, browse, and analyze old chats — without them cluttering your messaging apps.

SUPPORTED APPS
• WhatsApp — export a chat (.txt, or .zip with photos and videos)
• Telegram — export chat history as JSON (Telegram Desktop)
• Messenger & Instagram — your messages from a "Download your information" export (JSON)
• LINE — export a chat to a .txt file

FEATURES
• Read messages in the familiar bubble layout — your messages on the right, others on the left
• Date separators between days so you always know when messages were sent
• Chat participants, message count, and date shown in the chat list
• Search your chat list, plus full-text search across all messages with highlighted matches
• Jump to any month or date instantly
• Rename any chat or participant to keep things tidy
• Long-press a message to copy it, or select several and share them via the Android share sheet
• Reopens where you left off — scroll position is remembered per chat
• Tap a photo to view it full-screen, play voice notes, and open document attachments
• Import from any source: Files app, Google Drive, email attachment

CHAT STATISTICS
Tap Statistics in the menu to get a full breakdown of any chat:
• Total messages, date range, duration, and active days
• Per-sender message counts with visual progress bars
• Activity heatmap — a calendar view of your busiest days
• Busiest single day, most active weekday, and most active hour
• Day-of-week breakdown and response-time distribution (who replies quickly vs. slowly)
• Top 10 emojis per sender with frequency bar charts
• Total photos and videos shared
• Export the full statistics as a PDF to share

COMPARE CHATS
Compare two or more chats side by side:
• Per-chat overview, top senders, activity patterns, media and emoji use
• See who appears in more than one chat — and which chat they message more, or reply faster in

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
ChatRead works offline and has no accounts. Your chat files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, tracked, or shared.
