Get all your news in one place on an eye-opening platform that shows you the bias, reliability and ownership of every source you read. Cut through the noise and escape media echo chambers with Ground News.
Ground News is the largest news aggregator in the world with over 50K news sources and 60K articles added daily. But we aren’t a typical news aggregator, throwing hundreds of headlines at you that barely skim the surface. Ground frees people from algorithmic restraints, illuminates blindspots and makes media bias explicit with our one-of-a-kind media analysis features.
> Avoid manipulative algorithms > Spot media bias > Discover news Blindspots > Check the reliability of sources > See who owns the news you consume
Read daily breaking stories from sources around the world, in real time. Like a modern day newspaper, we show you diverse stories instead of algorithm-driven content that can limit your worldview. News coverage is rarely unbiased, so we give you as much context as possible so you can come to your own conclusions. Compare coverage on partisan topics like politics, and elections.
Enjoy our free features, or subscribe for in-depth analysis that will transform the way you look at news.

Decided to give this app another try after a couple of years. If you're looking for an app that focuses on war and politics 98% of the time, you'll really like Ground News. Unfortunately, for me, I like much more variety. I played with the settings and topics and hoped the app's algorithm would catch up, but still nothing but war and politics. So it's time to uninstall and move on.

We're sorry to hear it still felt too politics-heavy after adjusting your settings. Please try using Show Me Less on war and politics stories directly in your feed, and over time your feed should shift significantly toward your other interests. We'd love it if you'd consider giving it one more try before uninstalling!

Does nothing it was advertised to. Makes finding articles harder, and information about specific topics almost impossible. I thought this would have all the normal news stories and just show the biases and ownership, ect. It doesn't. You have to search for EVERYTHING, and the search engine sucks. If you're looking for information about a specific topic you only get articles about aa few of the key terms. It's AI cesspool at its finest and I have major suspicions about how it got a 4 star review

We're very sorry the experience didn't match expectations, Elle. Ground News is a news comparison tool where stories surface based on what outlets are actively covering. For specific topics, the search bar works best with broader terms rather than very specific phrases. We'd love to help you get more out of it at feedback@ground.news.

Definitely an app that keeps you grounded in both: far left like CNN and far right like Fox News within a middle ground (no pun intended), it's like any other news resource that provides information to others in day-to-day life. It's news worth checking out! Definitely worth the read in my daily mundane life where I can check up on what's happening and more. The only things I wouldn't do is pay $40.00 a year just to read all the news nor do the free trial but minus that, I recommend this app.
