About this app
Welcome to Checkpoints, a secure, verified community and safety platform designed exclusively to provide women with the resources, support, and protection they need.
Built from the ground up with privacy as the ultimate priority, Checkpoints offers a suite of tools to help you navigate your world safely and connect with a trusted network. Whether you are looking for shared housing through the Village Lantern, seeking care assistance via Groovycare and Grandma Needs a Blessing, or connecting with others in our secure directories, Checkpoints ensures your interactions remain private.
Key Features:
• Strict Privacy & Anonymity: Your identity is protected. We utilize a localized, anonymized username system and automatic EXIF metadata removal for all uploaded images to ensure your location and identity remain secure.
• Ephemeral Messaging: To maximize your security, all in-app peer-to-peer messaging features a strict seven-day auto-clear protocol.
• Comprehensive Safety Controls: You are in control of your feed. Our interactive spaces feature immediate Hide, Block, and Report functions, backed by a dedicated 24/7 human moderation team to keep the community safe.
• Discreet Security Operations: Checkpoints utilizes a variety of obfuscation methods to keep you as safe as we possibly can. All core safety features, emergency protocols, and operational mechanics are fully detailed in the menu under Settings (accessed by tapping the Lighthouse icon in the top right of any screen).
• Verified Access: To maintain the integrity of our network, all users undergo an onboarding process and must agree to our strict in-app disclosures and privacy agreements before accessing the platform.
Checkpoints is more than an app; it is a lifeline and a community. Download today and access the secure network you deserve.
Full details on all obfuscated safety protocols are provided during user registration and within the internal Lighthouse menu and manual. Check our website for sign up events and a list of features- we are in-person only sign up for this platform- we would rather have slower rollouts
and have everyone be secure then risk the safety of anyone in network- You matter, so should your network.
