Scan documents into clear PDFs, edit pages, recognize text and finish paperwork on your Android phone. Paperleaf combines a document scanner, PDF organizer and practical editing tools in one place.

SCAN DOCUMENTS TO PDF
Capture multiple pages, adjust edges, crop and rotate scans, improve readability with image filters, and choose paper size and fit. Keep receipts, forms, notes and letters organized with folders, tags and search.

EDIT, FILL AND SIGN PDF COPIES
Import a PDF, add text, dates, checkmarks and a visual signature, then export a new copy. Rearrange, replace, extract, split or combine pages. Imported PDFs become image pages for editing; original paragraph text, interactive form fields and cryptographic signatures are not preserved.

OCR AND SEARCHABLE EXPORTS
Recognize Latin-script text on your device, review and correct recognized words, and export a searchable PDF or plain text. Other scripts can be scanned as images but are not supported for text recognition.

EXPORT FOR THE JOB
Save or share PDFs and JPEGs without ads or watermarks. Preview compression, choose a target file size when possible, or protect a PDF export with a password. Very small file targets can reduce readability.

PRIVATE, LOCAL DOCUMENTS
Scanning and document processing stay on your phone. Add an optional app lock using Android biometrics or device credentials. Back up and restore your library, and recover recently deleted documents. Library backups are unencrypted, so store them securely.

Sign in with Google for five free exports of new or changed documents. Re-exporting the same unchanged revision does not use another export. A one-time Unlimited purchase is available separately; restore access with the same Google account. Activated Unlimited exports work offline. There is no recurring subscription.

The scanner needs an initial Google Play services download. Sign-in, free-export authorization, purchase activation and restoration need internet access. Your document images and recognized text are not uploaded to Paperleaf's servers.
