Perfect app to force myself to get up and think, instead of lazily dismissing alarm. Has huge potential to improve my chess skills, it is really annoying when the alarm keeps turning itself on while I am concentrating to solve the puzzle. I often find myself tapping on the "mute" button repeatedly while thinking. Having the option to delay the mute even longer would be appreciated, and unlimited lives too. Restarting a puzzle back to ONE life because I ran out of lives is also frustrating.

It worked well at first, until I solved all the easy puzzles. After a while, everyday I got the same puzzle over and over (which was the easiest problem available)

Chess Alarm has engaging "move sequence" and checkmate puzzles for chess players of all skill levels! I downloaded this to schedule a few quick games, and it quickly became my favorite chess app on the app store. If you don't need the alarm feature, you can still hop in at any time to play a few puzzles. Currently Chess Alarm my favorite app for when I want to play on my phone but only have a few minutes.
