About this game

Chess GM Champion is a complete chess trainer that lives entirely on your
phone. Play the open-source Stockfish engine — one of the strongest chess
engines in the world — at a strength that matches you, and learn from every
game. No sign-up, no ads, no internet required.

START IN ONE TAP
- One question when you first open the app: how well do you play? Your
answer sets the level, so your first game is neither a massacre nor a
snooze.
- Never played before? You begin on a beginner ladder against a lone king
and add pieces back one rung at a time.
- Your rating stays hidden as "Unrated" for five warm-up games, so the
first number you see is one worth trusting.

PLAY YOUR WAY
- Nine difficulty levels, from first-game friendly (about 600 Elo) up to
the full grandmaster-level strength of the Stockfish engine.
- Pass and play: two people, one phone, no engine in the way.
- Choose your color, time control, board theme and piece set. Kid mode
with gentler coaching included.
- Set up any position in the board editor and play or study from there.

A COACH THAT KNOWS YOUR GAME
- Move-by-move coaching explains the ideas behind moves as you play.
- Blundered? Flip the board and see the position through your opponent's
eyes to understand what they saw.
- The app tracks the mistakes you repeat — hanging pieces, missed tactics —
and a "Your Habits" card shows them shrinking as you improve.
- Wrong puzzle answer? You see exactly why it fails, not just that it does.
And any winning move is accepted — checkmate is checkmate.

STUDY AND ANALYZE
- A full analysis board: move both sides freely, watch the engine's top
three lines and its evaluation, take moves back, and play on from any
position you reach.
- Paste a PGN from any site to replay it — or let the app work through the
game and show you where it turned.
- A guided Learning Path of over 600 puzzles: checkmate in one, back-rank
and smothered mates, mate in two, forks, pins, skewers, discovered
attacks, hanging pieces, pawn promotion, en passant, and king-and-pawn
endings. Many run several moves, so you see the idea through to the
material it wins.
- Spaced repetition brings solved puzzles back just before you would
forget them.
- Daily puzzles, Puzzle Rush, puzzles grouped by theme, and your own
blunders turned into custom puzzles.

KEEP THE HABIT
- A play streak from your very first day — daily puzzles count too.
- An estimated Elo rating that moves with your results, with history
graphs, streaks and stats.
- 15 achievements to unlock, shareable milestone cards, and full game
replays with an evaluation graph.
- An optional daily reminder, offered once and never nagged.

- In 20 languages: English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Marathi,
Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Indonesian, Turkish, Arabic,
Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Thai. The app follows your
phone's language, or pick one in Settings.
- Light and dark themes that follow your phone, or pick one and stay there.
- Spoken moves, large-text mode, color-blind friendly board markers, and
full keyboard play.
- Long-press the app icon to jump straight to the Daily Puzzle, Quick Play
or Puzzle Rush.
