Think Tank is an offline 📴 studio app 📱 for balloon twisting — the craft of shaping long modelling balloons (260Q and friends) into dogs, swords, flowers, hats and shapes.

It is not a game 🎮 and not a video 🎬 course. It is a working companion for someone who actually twists balloons: a catalog of models to build 🔨, step-by-step guides, a designer for inventing your own sculptures, an inventory of the balloons you own, and a portfolio of what you made. Everything is stored on the device 📱 — no account, no upload, no network required.


BUILDING A MODEL FROM THE CATALOG

Open a model from the Library 📚 or from Build 🔨 of the Day on Home. Model Detail shows the difficulty 📏, a time ⏱️ estimate, the step count and the balloons the model needs — each colour marked in stock, or "Short N" against what you actually own.

Tap 👆 Start 🚀 step-by-step to open the Guide: step N of M, an illustration of the sculpture at that stage, an "air for this step" indicator and a per-step timer with start, pause ⏸️ and reset. Mark each step done ✅ as you go — progress is remembered. At the end, photograph your result to pin the build onto My Wall.

You can also save 💾 a model to favourites, check ✅ it against your stock, or open it in the Designer to use as the starting point for your own variant.


DESIGNING YOUR OWN

The Designer builds a sculpture as a chain of bubbles. Add a bubble, then tap 👆 any bubble in the row to select and shape it:

• Length — one to six air units per bubble
• Colour — eight balloon colours
• Twist — how the bubble joins the next one: a plain bubble joint where the tube runs straight on, a lock twist where a ring cinches the joint so the bubbles hold together, or a pinch twist where a small bubble is pinched off and locked at the joint. Each renders differently on the sculpture above, so you can see 👀 the joint you chose.
• Bend left and bend right — angle the segment to shape the figure
• Delete bubble, undo, clear

An air gauge tracks how much of the balloon you have used out of twenty units. Overrun it and the balloon pops — undo recovers it. Play ▶️ preview walks through the build 🔨 bubble by bubble.


STUDIO TOOLS 🛠️

• Mixer — build 🔨 a colour recipe by tapping a palette, check ✅ it against your stock, and save 💾 it as a design or open it in the Designer. You can also match colours from a reference photo 📸.
• Trainer — four practice 🏋️ drills: basic twist, lock twist, pinch or ear twist, and bubble sizing. Each scores your accuracy and keeps a best score 🔢.
• Timer — a countdown timer plus a metronome with adjustable tempo, for pacing your twisting.
• Challenges — daily and weekly goals 🎯 you accept, progress 📈 toward and claim.
• Awards — an achievement 🏆 grid showing earned and locked badges with progress 📈.
• Settings — haptics, player ▶️ name, default balloon size, and a reset that clears creations, designs, stock, challenges and settings after a confirmation.


KEEPING STOCK

My Stock is the inventory the rest of the app 📱 reasons about. Pick a size — modelling 260, thin 160 or fat 350 — add colours and adjust the counts. Colours running low are flagged. You can also photograph your table 📋 and confirm the colours detected in the shot instead of entering them by hand.

Stock feeds the Library 📚's "buildable only" filter 🎚️, the "Short N" warnings on Model Detail and the low-stock counter on Home, all updating live as you edit.


YOUR WALL

My Wall is the portfolio. Each creation holds a photo 📸 of your build 🔨 side by side with the model it came from, a star rating, a title, notes 📝 and tags. From a creation you can build it again, change the photo, or delete it.


GOOD TO KNOW 💡

Everything works offline 📴 and is stored on the device 📱; nothing is uploaded. All progress 📈 is reactive — change your stock and every screen that depends on it updates immediately, with no refresh or restart.
