Truly an amazing app. My only regret is not knowing about it sooner. What I REALLY like is that you can give it just about ANY URL, and it will create a slick, Lite App just for that. Consider this scenario: We are currently watching "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" on Netflix, and I'm constantly referring to IMDB for info about an episode. So just create an IMDB Lite App, right? NO!! Navigate to IMDB's "DS9" page in Chrome, and use THAT URL for the Lite App. Now, instead of having to constantly search for DS9, I just launch my handy "show-specific" app. Yes, it's expensive compared to many apps, but for me, it's well worth it.
Wow! This is the real deal! Both the app and the developer. At first sight I assumed it was basically doing the same thing Chrome does by just putting a webapp shortcut to your homescreen. I gave this a 3 star review. The developer answered within a minute with a link detailing all the cool stuff this app does compared to Chrome. And I must say, I'm very impressed with both the app and it's developer. 5 stars for sure!
This app is the best out there in terms of making lite apps to save battery and data. I have been having problems though; whenever I try to view a Facebook post or tweet that has multiple pictures, it won't let me swipe from picture to picture. Let's say someone tweets 4 pictures, instead of clicking the first picture then swiping to the other three, I have to click the first picture then click the back button then click the second picture then click the back button...Ect. when I try to swipe it almost pulls the other picture over but then it falls back out of view. For a 5/5 star rating I would at least need to be able to view pictures.
You gave us today a night mode and is freaking awesome. Man, your next step is building a browser. Please, built that soon. I noticed one problem, when I have activated a dark theme for a webpage, any single time I click on other link or article in that page, first it load the white page that used to have (normal view) and after that half of a second, Hermit applies the night theme. Could you correct that half second of loading by adding an artificial black page to avoid flashing the screen with the old and default white theme of the typical page?
The concept of app is quite interesting. But I have concerns before moving to premium 1: how can I add auto translator for any website using apps search engine? 2ndly: I convert paypal website by Hermit and evertime I need to insert password, why we dont have auto password saving and auto formula filler option like address, nd phone etc??
Good app. Cool design and options. Only one issue. When you write a comment on facebook, you can't see what you wrote as the keyboard overtake half the screen. You have to minimize the keyboard to see it.
