CTBC app is frozen in time, while some banks like Bank of Taiwan invested in a app fully in English, some other banks like E-Sun and Fubon also have app fully in English. I made a right decision to transfer my assets to another bank where I can easily invest and maximize the ROI. I Regretted having opened a bank account for 9 years at CTBC.

Immature and juvenile app design for a good bank. So get this, IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE NON-STOP SPAM FROM THIS BANK, you have to perform a "search" from their site as PER THEIR OWN INSTRUCTION OR, "contact" the customer service. There is NO SETTING ANYWHERE on the app, OR on their site, to perform a simple "NO MARKETING SPAM function." This bank BOMBARD you DAILY SPAM to win a prize or something. It's such a juvenile and HORRIBLE way to get attention, it feels like a scam. THEY DO THIS DAILY.

Many functions only work for those with a Taiwan ID. Even if you switch to the original Chinese UI, several features will still produce errors, preventing you from proceeding, or display a message stating, 'Only natural persons in the country can use this function.' Imagine getting your Uniopen聯名卡 activated, only to find that the app doesn’t allow you to bind the card to your Uniopen account for some reason, rendering all the advertised services and benefits useless.
