About this game

"Creatures Such As We" is a philosophical interactive romance novel by Lynnea Glasser, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based--without graphics or sound effects--and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Living on the moon is lonely, and stressful, and exhausting. Video games have always offered you an escape to a better life. The easy, happy life you wish you had. Which makes it so frustrating when the game you've been playing ends badly. But you have a chance to figure it out, because the next tourist group is the designers. You can debate with them about art, inspire them with the beauty of outer space, get closer to any one specific designer in particular, and finally find out how to get the ending you always wanted.

Love this game. I played it 10 years ago, but forgot the name until now. It stuck with me all this time! I never write reviews for apps but I had to for this. The author's voice shines in this story, which is sometimes strange and imperfect. This makes the game feel unlike other more polished or higher production (more than just text) adventures.

This was... an absolutely amazing story. For one, I am INTENSELY GRATEFUL that it was free. All I had to do was wait a certain amount of time. The story itself was engaging and I found myself eagerly waiting for the next chapter. Also, the whole concept of a game within a game was so interesting! But the ending.... gosh.. I wont put any spoilers but man... that got me. 😭😭 I recommend this to everyone!!!

Great wholesome game, honestly, after I played it and deleted the app I reinstalled it just to have the choice to play it if I'm ever down or bored. The company behind these games do have some great stories and I suggest as a marketing effort they should make the first 1-2 chps free on all products, gives reader/players engagement, and hooks them into the setting and narrative rythm of the story. Rather than an shallow summary in the app's description, for really great stories. I love thesegames
