Ratings and reviews

I rather enjoyed the story even if most characters were fairly one dimensional. It was short and fairly linear, but the time I spent with it was engaging. Not sure why there even had to be romance. It didn't add much. YA pandering perhaps? For the person ranting about their culture... In the Southern (Guangdong) styles it is generally Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake, Dragon. Northern styles (Shandong) are often Tiger, Crane, Monkey, Snake, Mantis. Why would students from one school mix two systems?

I actually purchased this book. It was short but creatively written with good imagery. The story itself was quite good and all the characters in game are relatable. Stats worked exceptionally well in game. I enjoyed my playthrough.

A decent book, but not something you might want to play (or read) more than once.
