Chore Chores settles it. Not with arguments, but with data. It tracks every task, weighs difficulty, and uses a fairness algorithm to automatically assign chores to whoever has genuinely done the least. No more mental score-keeping. No more passive-aggressive sticky notes on the fridge.
HOW IT WORKS
Create your home. Invite your partner or housemates. Add chores — or start from our defaults across 9 categories (cleaning, cooking, yard, laundry, pets, and more). Rate each chore by difficulty — scrubbing the shower weighs
more than sorting mail. Each day, Chore Chores looks at everyone's recent
workload and assigns tasks based on those scores, so the effort balances out
over time.
SCHEDULES THAT MATCH REAL LIFE
Daily, weekly, monthly, every 3 days, twice a week, specific days — set whatever makes sense and forget about it. Need a chore done morning and evening? Multi-occurrence scheduling handles it. Missed a chore? It persists until it's done.
Break big jobs into sub-task checklists so "clean the kitchen" means the same thing to both of you — counters, stove-top, dishes, floor. No more "I cleaned it" when they just wiped one surface.
THE SCOREBOARD NOBODY CAN ARGUE WITH
Open the analytics tab and the truth is right there. Balance bars show each person's workload at a glance. Weekly and monthly breakdowns track completions by person and category. History logs every completed, skipped, and reassigned chore with timestamps.
When the data is visible, behavior changes. People step up when they see they're behind — without anyone having to say a word.
AWAY MODE
Going on a trip? Toggle away mode with start and end dates. Chores get redistributed fairly, and your fairness score adjusts so you're not behind when you return.

Enable the reward system and every completed chore earns points scaled by difficulty. Set goals — point milestones, completion targets, streak challenges. Achievements unlock automatically. Great for adding a bit of friendly competition or motivating kids to pitch in.
