Daredevil Dodo is a casual, Flappy-Bird-style game starring a friendly dodo who is, biologically speaking, completely unequipped to fly -- and gives it a go anyway. Tap to flap through a jungle inspired by the dodo's native Mauritius habitat, threading the gaps between the trunks for as long as your nerve (and its wings) hold out.

No ads. No accounts, sign-ups, or logins. No trackers, no analytics, no internet permission at all -- the app has no way to send anything, anywhere, because it never asks Android for the permission to go online in the first place. The only things it remembers are your high score, your last sound/graphics settings, and the name you last typed in to share a score -- and all of that stays in a local settings file on your own device. Nothing ever leaves your phone.

HOW TO PLAY
Tap anywhere to flap upward against gravity. Fly through the gaps in the jungle tree trunks to score points. Crash, and you'll get a short breather before you can tap to try again -- plenty of time to see (and beat) your score.

FEATURES
• Two full graphics styles, switchable any time: the original coarse, chunky retro pixel-art look, or a smoother "HD" style with soft gradients, glowing highlights and anti-aliased curves -- same game, same physics, painted differently.
• A living landscape: the sky, clouds, tree canopy and ground blend gradually through jungle, coastal, volcanic and misty-highland biomes as a run goes on.
• A long, unhurried day/night cycle -- the sun and moon each rise, arc across the sky and set, with the sky's brightness synced to wherever they are in that arc, twilight glow at the turnover, stars coming out, and fireflies drifting through the jungle after dark.
• Rare background flourishes to stumble on -- a thatched hut with a window that glows after dark, a grazing animal, a flock of migrating birds, a little boat on the horizon, a lighthouse whose beam switches on at night, even the odd cluster of butterflies by day.
• Distinct, procedurally-generated sound effects for flapping, scoring and crashing -- no audio files, no licensing, nothing downloaded.
• Share your run as a neatly laid-out achievement card -- your name, score, best score, and a snapshot of the dodo mid-flight in whichever biome and time of day the run reached -- through Android's own share sheet, straight to whichever app you actually want to use.

It's meant to be clumsy and lovable, not graceful. No setup, no configuration, no nonsense -- just open the app and tap.
