Companion Memory is the Android app for your own Companion server. It is a private record of your life: notes, photos, files, and conversations, kept on a server you run.
Sign in with your Companion account, choose your Memory server, and the phone opens the same Memory you use on the web. Search what you have saved. Capture a photo or a voice note. Save a place when you want one on the map.
Your account is yours. Settings includes account deletion. Deletion starts right away, and the server finishes removing your data within 30 days.
Companion Memory is for adults keeping their own record. It is not a social network, it does not show other people's posts, and it does not include ads.
The app uses the camera and microphone when you capture something, and notifications if you allow them. Location is off until you turn tracking on and agree in the app. If you choose Always, Android shows a notification while location is recording in the background. You can turn that off at any time.
You need a Companion server to use the app. Questions go to support@companionintelligence.com or https://ci.computer/support.
