CiferProof Cam solves a critical problem: how do you prove a photo or video is real in an age of AI-generated and manipulated media?
Every photo and video you capture with CiferProof Cam is cryptographically signed at the moment of capture using a private key secured in your device's hardware enclave. The signature proves three things:
- Authenticity — The media came from your specific registered device
- Integrity — The file has not been edited, compressed, or modified since capture
- Timestamp — The exact time and place the media was captured
How it works:

Capture photos or videos normally through the app
Each capture is automatically signed in the background—no extra steps
Share your media with confidence; the signature travels with the file
Anyone with CiferProof or a compatible verifier can instantly validate the proof

Verification Levels:
When you or someone else verifies media, you'll see one of four trust levels:

Fully Verified — Signature valid, device registered, certificate current
Partially Verified — Signature valid but certificate expired after signing
Unrecognized Signer — Valid signature but signing key not registered
Tampered — File has been modified since signing

Privacy First:
Your private signing key never leaves your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to our servers. We only store your device's public key and a hardware attestation token to prove the app is genuine. Location data is optional and only included in signatures you explicitly enable.
