About this app

The My Smart Humidor App is used with Cigar Oasis 3.0 humidification units and is used to check on your cigars when away from home. You also have the ability to remotely monitor the temperature, adjust the humidity setting and also view the humidity and temperature history with the user friendly charts. You may purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an In-App Purchase. (If you do not maintain a subscription, data will no longer be visible.)

Just opened the box and turned it on. I was really excited to add this to my brand new humidor. I decided to connect it to my 2.4Ghz Wifi. The CO operated for about 20 seconds and then shut off and reboot. Its been in an endless boot cycle for 3 hours now and completely unresponsive to any button input. I will change my review if someone from product support reaches out, but thus far I've only gotten answering machines. This app crashed the firmware on the brand new unit.

Update: Finally figured out how to subscribe after the 30 day free trial. I had to click on my coolidor I have set up in the app to subscribe. Not the "subscribe" button at the bottom. Poor design. Original review: App was working great during the 30 day free trial but now when I click for the paid renewal through the app, it takes me to the Play Store Subscriptions, but no option to set up a paid subscription. Grrrrrrr!

I think "smart" is a bad choice for the name. I have been trying for 2 days to get this thing hooked up to the internet. Now it is "pending validation" with no explanation of what that means. It is absolutely frustrating and makes me question why I need it much less why I'd pay for it. How can something so simple be so complicated. EDIT: After waiting for 2 days and numerous attempts I finally deleted it. It kept telling me that my wifi had no internet connection. Decided I don't need it anyway.
