About this app

CityWalker loads every street in your city from OpenStreetMap and tracks which ones you've covered. Start a walk, explore your neighbourhood, and see your coverage grow with every walk.

HOW IT WORKS

Add your city. Large cities download by area, so you only get what you need.

Tap GO to start a walk. GPS tracks your route in the background, even with the screen off.

Check your coverage map. Grey streets are unexplored, green streets are covered.

See what each walk adds. New streets, distance, percentage gained.

FEATURES
Live coverage map with colour-coded streets and a fast preview on every screen.

Smart walk matching. Counts sidewalks alongside roads, curved streets, and walks that double back on themselves.

Multi-region cities. Pick the area you're in and download just that part.

Import existing walks. Bring in GPX files from Strava, Garmin, Komoot, and others, up to 10 at a time. Cities are added automatically.

Walk detail. Every walk shows the new streets you covered, with a tappable breakdown of how each segment was matched.

Manual segment overrides. Long-press the map to mark or unmark streets when the matcher gets it wrong.

Share cards for every walk, in dark or light.

Multi-city support. Add as many cities as you want and switch with a tap.

Home-screen widget to start a walk in one tap.

PRIVACY FIRST
Your GPS, walks, and coverage stay on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. Optional anonymous crash reporting can be turned on in Settings to help fix bugs faster.

What’s new

Export your walks as GPX
You can now export all your walks from Settings. Each walk is saved as a separate GPX file, packed into a zip. Ready to import into Strava, Komoot, Google Maps, or any other app that supports GPX.
