Bimir Lock is an offline password manager for Android: a password keeper and password vault that stores your passwords encrypted on your own phone. No account, no cloud, no ads, no subscription. Save passwords once, open them with your PIN or fingerprint, and autofill them into the app in front of you.
A PASSWORD MANAGER WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
• Works offline: your password vault lives on this phone, not on someone's server
• No sign-up and no email, so there is no account for anyone to break into
• Passwords and their notes are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are saved
• The key is kept in Android Keystore and never leaves the device
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking
ONLY YOU CAN OPEN YOUR PASSWORDS
• Every saved password opens only with your 6-digit PIN, or your fingerprint or face if you turn it on
• Easy PINs like 123456 or 111111 are refused
• 10 wrong PINs in a row lock the keypad for 30 seconds; more guessing locks it for 1, 5, then 15 minutes, and it shows the tries left
• Wrong PIN alerts list every lockout and can photograph whoever was guessing (optional; photos stay on your phone)
• A revealed password hides again after 30 seconds, and a copied one is cleared from the clipboard after 30 seconds
PASSWORD GENERATOR
• Create strong passwords from 8 to 64 characters, with numbers and symbols on or off
• Leaves out look-alike characters such as l, I, O and 0
• Strength meter on every password
• Warns you before you reuse a password you already saved
PASSWORD CHECKUP
• Finds weak passwords and passwords used on more than one site
• Shows what to fix first, with a Change button on each
• Checked on your phone; nothing is sent anywhere
AUTOFILL PASSWORDS IN OTHER APPS
• Fill saved logins into other apps and browsers that support Android autofill
• Save a new login when you sign in somewhere, without opening the password manager
• Nothing is filled until you confirm with your fingerprint, face or screen lock
ENCRYPTED BACKUP FILE
• Back up your passwords to one encrypted file, locked with its own backup password (Argon2id + AES-256-GCM)
• Keep it wherever you like: on the phone, on a computer or in the drive you already use
• Restore on a new phone: it adds what is missing and never deletes anything
A SIMPLE PASSWORD BOOK
• A clean list with search and letter icons, like a password book that cannot be lost in a drawer
• Site name suggestions as you type, and it remembers the names you add
• The username field adapts: email, phone number, customer ID or Wi-Fi network
• Light and dark themes
• A short security quote each time you open it
• A notes space for everyday notes (keep secrets in a password's encrypted note)
WHO THIS PASSWORD SAVER IS FOR
• Anyone who wants a local password manager without handing their passwords to a cloud service
• Anyone tired of the notebook, the notes app or the same password everywhere
• Families and small shops keeping bank, email, Wi-Fi and wallet logins in one offline password locker
WHAT IT IS NOT
There is no cloud sync and no account, so your vault lives on one phone: keep a backup file somewhere safe. Bimir Lock does not check passwords against breach lists and does not make 2FA codes.
Free, with no ads, no subscription and no in-app purchases: an offline password safe made by one developer in Pokhara, Nepal.
Offline password manager & vault: no account, no cloud. Fingerprint & autofill.
