ClaryBook turns receipts and expenses into clean, tax-ready books — without the spreadsheet. Snap a photo, send a text, or tap a button. Your books update themselves.

Built for the people whose actual job isn't bookkeeping: freelancers,
landlords, contractors, and small-business owners. If shoebox receipts and a panicky January are your normal, this is for you.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Snap receipts. Take a photo and ClaryBook reads the vendor, amount, date, and category, then files it under the right property or project.

• Text it in. Forward a receipt or send a message to the @ClaryBookkeepingBot Telegram bot — straight from your Photos app or your bank's email.

• Track mileage and hours. Log a trip from A to B or hours on a project. Both flow into the right reports automatically.

• Import bank transactions. Hand off a CSV and we'll categorize the lot in seconds.

• Manage multiple properties or projects. Rents in, expenses out, mortgage interest, depreciation — every line goes against the property it belongs to.

• Track contractors. Mark someone as 1099-eligible and we'll flag totals when they cross the $600 threshold so nothing slips through.

• Reports that match the way you file. Schedule E for rentals, freelance and small-business summaries, mileage logs, contractor totals — ready to hand to your accountant.

• Dark mode and biometric unlock built in.

Move between the Android app, the web app at app.clarybook.com, and the Telegram bot interchangeably. Add an expense on your phone; see it on the web a second later.

• Two-factor authentication available (TOTP + biometric unlock on supported devices).
• Account deletion is one tap (Settings → Delete Account). You can also export every record at any time.

DOGFOODED
We had a bookkeeping problem of our own and built ClaryBook to solve it. We still run our books on it every week — so when something breaks, it gets fixed fast.

What’s new

Invoices, tuned for Dutch businesses:
- The in-app PDF viewer now starts below the header, so the top of page 1 is always visible.
- A "Delivery date / period" field on every invoice.
- Reverse charge ("Btw verlegd") as a VAT choice, with the customer VAT number on the form.
- Before you send, a checklist shows exactly what is still missing.
- Amounts on the invoice screens follow your locale (for example 1.000,00 for Dutch).
