Clause Master turns one of the most confusing topics in English, relative clauses, into a fun puzzle.

The app gives you two short sentences:

The man is here. He lives next door.

Drag – or simply tap – the word "who," "which," or "whose" into the space, and the two clauses merge into one:

The man who lives next door is here.

With each question, you get instant feedback, the completed sentence, and a short note explaining why the correct pronoun is correct.

Each rule comes with a Learn card that explains the rule itself, when to use it, three example sentences, and a "wrong-right" comparison of the most common mistakes.

FOUR DIFFERENT STUDY MODES

- Learn — short and clear lesson cards for the three pronouns. - Practice — All 150 questions, no pressure to score or time. You can try again if you get it wrong.
- Challenge — 10 questions, 10 points each. Full points on the first attempt, 5 points on the second; using hints costs 2 points.
- Mixed Test — who, which, and whose are in a mixed order; no questions are repeated in the same round.

50 who, 50 which, and 50 whose questions are prepared from topics such as people, animals, objects, family, school, professions, daily life, travel, nature, technology, and home life.

HINT SYSTEM

When you get stuck, a hint shows you the right direction without giving the answer; for example, "this name is a person" or "the sentence indicates possession". It never gives the answer directly; you can try again as many times as you want.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

You can see your overall accuracy and your accuracy rate for who, which, and whose separately. At the end of each test, you'll find your score, accuracy, the pronoun you most frequently misanswered, and a detailed analysis of each incorrect answer.
