Claxon mirrors your Android notifications, incoming calls, and screenshots to your Mac in real time — and lets you ring your phone from your Mac menu bar when it's lost under a couch cushion. Everything runs over your local Wi-Fi only. Nothing goes through the cloud. No account. No tracking. No servers.

Your phone is still your phone. Claxon just gives your Mac a window into the notifications that matter when you're deep in a document, a codebase, or a meeting.

WHAT YOU GET
Live notification mirroring — every message, alert, and reminder from your Android apps shows up in a tidy Mac notification you can dismiss, reply to, or act on directly.

Quick reply — respond to messages from your Mac keyboard without touching your phone.

Incoming calls on your Mac — see who's calling, accept or reject from your Mac keyboard. Caller info comes from your phone's own Phone app notification, so Claxon never reads your call log or contacts.

Screenshot relay — take a screenshot on your phone and it lands on your Mac clipboard instantly. Opt-in.

Ring your phone from your Mac — can't find your phone? Trigger a loud alarm sound from the Claxon menu bar app on your Mac, even if your phone is on silent or do-not-disturb. Auto-stops after 30 seconds.

Battery status — glance at your Mac menu bar to see your phone's charge and charging state.

Sensitive-category filtering — notifications from banking, health, and authenticator apps are blocked by default. You choose what syncs.

Quiet hours — pause the relay during a time window you set. Your focus stays yours.

Per-app filtering on the Mac — fine-grained rules for which apps are allowed to forward.

LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY
Claxon doesn't have a cloud. There's no server to compromise because there isn't a server. Your notifications are sent directly from your phone to your Mac over your home, office, or hotspot Wi-Fi network. No account signup, no analytics, no data sold to third parties. Ever.

Sensitive categories — banking, health, and authenticator apps — are blocked before they ever leave your phone, and you can tighten or loosen those rules any time in Settings. Screenshot forwarding and call mirroring are strictly opt-in, and only activate after you explicitly turn them on.
HOW IT WORKS
Download Claxon for Mac at getclaxon.app (free).
Launch the Mac app. A bell icon appears in your menu bar.
Click the bell, show the QR code, and scan it from this Android app.
Grant notification access when prompted.
You're synced. Claxon runs quietly in the background.

Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network — that's the whole point. Nothing ever leaves your local network.
