About this app

PromptrGo is the simple video teleprompter app for content creators. Write or import your script, auto-scroll it and read with confidence, in full screen or floating over your camera app. No account, no sign-up, works offline.

WHY CREATORS CHOOSE THIS TELEPROMPTER APP
• Floating teleprompter: keep your script on top of any camera or social app (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok or your phone camera) and look straight into the lens.
• Smooth auto-scroll: speed from 60 to 300 words per minute, adjustable live while you read.
• Full-screen prompter: big readable text, controls that hide while you read, screen always on.
• Made for your voice: font size, line height, text width, left or centered text, mirror mode, 3 or 5 second countdown.
• Easy gestures: tap to pause or resume, double-tap to restart, pinch to resize the text.
• Never lose your place: PromptrGo remembers where you stopped reading.

A TELEPROMPTER FOR EVERY KIND OF VIDEO
Record a YouTube video, a vertical Short, a Reel, a TikTok, an online course or a podcast episode: the same video teleprompter works with your favorite camera app. Prefer a classic setup? Turn on mirror mode and use PromptrGo as the teleprompter on a tripod with a beam-splitter glass.

WRITE OR IMPORT YOUR SCRIPT
• Editor with autosave, undo and redo, word count and estimated reading time.
• Paste from anywhere, or import .txt, .md (Markdown), .docx (Word) and .odt files.
• Share text from any app (Notes, Docs, Keep and more) straight to PromptrGo.
• Search your script library by title or content. Rename, duplicate or delete in one tap.

YOUR SCRIPTS STAY YOURS
• Works offline: scripts are saved on your device. No cloud, no account.
• No camera or microphone permission: PromptrGo never records. Use your usual camera app.
• Back up all your scripts to a single file and restore it any time, or export any script as a .txt file.

PERFECT FOR
YouTubers, vloggers, Shorts, Reels and TikTok creators, online teachers, podcasters, speeches, presentations, pitches, interviews, cue cards and anyone who wants to speak naturally without forgetting a word.

DESIGNED FOR COMFORT
Dark and light themes, immersive full-screen mode, and 6 languages: English, Français, Español, Deutsch, Português (Brasil) and Português (Portugal).

FREE TO USE, PRO TO GO AD-FREE
All teleprompter features are free. A small banner ad appears on the home screen only, never while you edit or read. Unlock Pro with a one-time purchase (no subscription) to remove ads and support independent creators.

HOW THE FLOATING TELEPROMPTER WORKS
1. Allow PromptrGo to display over other apps.
2. Launch the floating window from any script.
3. Open your camera app and press play on the floating window. Drag it near the lens, resize it, adjust its opacity and speed.
Some apps or devices may restrict overlays. Full-screen mode is always available.
