Kept finds the recurring debits quietly charging your bank account, works out what each one really costs you per year, and shows you exactly where to cancel it.
WHAT IT DOES
Finds every recurring debit
Kept reads the transaction alerts your bank already sends you by SMS and works out which ones repeat - UPI Autopay mandates, NACH/ECS standing instructions and card renewals.
Tells you what you forgot
A mandate from fourteen months ago doesn't announce itself. Kept ranks charges by how likely you are to have stopped noticing them, and shows what each one costs per month and per year.
Gets you one tap from cancelling
For each charge, Kept opens the merchant's own cancel page - or the exact screen in GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or Amazon Pay where a UPI Autopay mandate actually dies.
Shows its working
Every recurring item lists the charges it was built from, the detected billing cycle and the next expected date, so you can see why Kept thinks something repeats.
PRIVACY
Your messages are parsed on this device and stored only on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Account numbers and reference IDs are stripped out before anything is saved. Kept does not sell or share your SMS data, and it never sends an SMS.
WHY KEPT NEEDS SMS ACCESS
In India, banks and UPI providers deliver transaction alerts by SMS, and those alerts are the only complete record on your phone of what is being debited automatically. There is no public API that lets an app list your UPI mandates. Kept reads only these transaction alerts, not personal or non-financial messages.
WHAT KEPT WILL NOT DO
Kept cannot move money, and it cannot cancel a mandate on your behalf - no app can. What it can do is find every one of them and put you one tap from the screen that ends it. Loans, insurance and investments are surfaced so you can see them, but are never given a cancel route.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Detection, the built-in merchant catalogue and every cancel route work without signing in. An optional account exists only for the optional AI enrichment feature, which names merchants the catalogue doesn't recognise - and it sends only the merchant name, amount and cadence, never your messages.
Find the subscriptions quietly charging your bank account, and cancel them.
