About this app

GroomDesk is the client card file for a dog groomer working on their own.

Every dog gets a card. Breed, size, temperament, the owner's number, and the clip that worked
last time with the blade number on every area. Open it with the dog already on the table and
you can see what you did, what the owner liked, and what to watch for.

THE CLIP RECORD
Record what you actually took off, area by area: body, legs, head, ears, tail, feet and
sanitary. Each one holds a blade or comb and a note, and the app shows what that blade leaves
beside the number, so 5F reads as a quarter of an inch without you having to remember. Add the
shampoo, the add-ons and the time it took, then a before and after photo side by side.

The next appointment opens with last time's clip already filled in, so repeating a cut is one
tap and changing it is two. Every groom stays on the card, so the history shows the different
trims a dog has had.

THE CARD
Temperament flags for the things that matter with a dog on the table: nervous, bites, hates the
dryer, matting prone, senior. A medical note in the owner's words. Vaccination dates as the
owner reported them, with a warning before one runs out. GroomDesk records what you were told.
It does not verify a vaccination and never says a dog is protected or safe to groom.

YOUR DAY
Bookings in time order with the dog's photo, the service and the price. Mark a dog arrived, in
progress, ready or collected, and record a no show against the owner. Block out time you are
not working. Repeat a booking every few weeks. Overlaps are shown rather than refused, because
sometimes one dog is drying while the next one is in.

Reminders come to you, on your own phone. GroomDesk does not text your customers. When you want
to remind an owner it opens a message for you, already written, and you send it.

YOUR PRICES
A price list by size band that you set yourself, with add-ons. Nothing is filled in for you.
Quote a job from the size and the service, record what was paid and how, and keep tips separate.

REPORTS AND RECORDS
The payments you recorded, by month, with dogs groomed, average ticket, no shows and which
add-ons people say yes to. Export it as a CSV. Make an invoice or a receipt as a PDF with your
own logo on it.

BACKUP
One file holds every card, groom and photo. Share it wherever you keep files and restore it on
another Android phone. It is part of the standard tier and always will be.

WHERE YOUR RECORDS LIVE
Your clients, your dogs and your photos stay on this phone. There is no account, no sign in and
no server holding your records, and nothing is uploaded. Like most apps, GroomDesk reports
crashes and basic usage so it can be fixed and improved.

WHO IT IS FOR
The one-person salon and the mobile van groomer. If you travel to the dog, turn that on and the
card shows the address with a link to your maps app.

It is a record, not a booking platform: no online booking, no deposits, no card payments.

STANDARD TIER
Fifteen dogs, with bookings, the clip record, reminders and backup. Unlocking adds unlimited
dogs, the invoice and receipt PDFs, the reports and the quote tool. Everything you have already
typed stays readable and editable forever, whatever you choose.
