About this app

HifzPal is a calm, respectful Quran learning app built for kids and families — and for adult learners doing hifz (memorization). Every feature is available to everyone. There are no ads, and nothing is locked behind a paywall. HifzPal is supported entirely by optional donations from people who find it helpful.

Learn the Arabic letters (Noorani Qaida)
Start from the very beginning with structured Qaida lessons: the 28 Arabic letters, how their shapes change, vowel marks (harakat), tanween, shaddah, madd and tajweed basics. Every letter and drill plays a real recitation recorded by a qualified reciter — never robotic text-to-speech. Tap any card to hear the exact sound it shows.

Read the full Quran
The complete Quran in a beautiful uthmani Arabic script that is easy on the eyes. Adjustable font size, line spacing and light / dark / sepia themes. Jump by surah, bookmark your place, and resume exactly where you left off. Read with translation in 10 languages — English, Urdu, Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, French, Hindi, Bengali, Malay and Spanish — from well-respected, clearly credited translators.

Listen and memorize
Real recitation from 6 reciters, including Mishary Alafasy, Abdul Basit, Sudais, Husary, Minshawi and Al-Ghamdi. Repeat any single ayah, loop a range of ayahs, or loop a whole surah, with an adjustable gap between repeats — the natural way to memorize by listening and echoing.

Practice hifz that sticks
Add a surah or ayah range and HifzPal builds a spaced-repetition queue that brings each ayah back for review at the right time. Practice with 4 hide modes — show all, hide the Arabic, hide the translation, or hide just the vowels — to test your recall step by step, then grade yourself so the app knows what to review next.

Kids knowledge quizzes
150 friendly questions across the 5 Pillars, articles of faith, the 99 Names of Allah, the prophets, surah recognition, du'as and good manners — each written for young, middle and older learners.

Daily du'as with audio
A collection of kid-friendly everyday du'as — for waking, sleeping, eating, travel and protection — with Arabic, transliteration, translation, a scholarly reference and real recitation you can play.

Made for families
A parent dashboard shows progress, streaks and weak spots at a glance. A focus / lock mode lets a parent set a timer and passcode for distraction-free practice. Gentle achievements and streaks encourage the habit without noisy, over-the-top gamification.

Works offline for lessons
Qaida lessons and du'a audio are bundled in the app, so letter drills and du'as work without an internet connection.

Our promise
- Every feature, for everyone, always.
- No ads, ever. Quran content deserves better.
- Real recitation for Arabic — never synthetic voices.
- No account required. Your progress stays on your device.
- Only crash reporting and basic analytics — no marketing trackers.

Audio and text sources are used with care, and courtesy attributions to the reciters and sources are shown inside the app.

May Allah accept your effort and make the Quran easy for you and your children.
