About this app

Water in your speaker? Remove it with sound.

ClearWave is a free speaker cleaner that helps you remove water from your phone speaker using precisely tuned sound waves. No rice. No cables. No taking the phone apart.

A splash in the sink, rain on the way home, a few minutes too long in the shower — trapped water muffles your speaker and turns music, calls and alarms into a distant hum. ClearWave plays low-frequency tones that vibrate the speaker membrane and force the water back out through the grille.

HOW THE SPEAKER CLEANER WORKS
A speaker makes sound by moving a thin membrane. ClearWave drives that membrane with a strong low tone — around 165 Hz in the main mode — and the movement pushes trapped droplets out of the opening. Hold the phone with the speaker facing down and let the water eject cycle run.

FIVE CLEANING MODES
- Speaker — the standard 30-second water eject cycle to remove water from the loudspeaker
- Earpiece — a gentler cycle to clean the earpiece at the top of the phone
- Microphone — clears dust and debris around the microphone port
- Deep Clean — a longer sweep across a wider frequency range for stubborn water
- Custom — pick the frequency yourself, anywhere from 20 Hz to 20 kHz

SOUND TEST
After a cycle, check the result. Play left, right or stereo and hear straight away whether the speaker is clear again — a quick way to test whether your phone speaker still sounds muffled.

FREQUENCY GENERATOR
A full 20 Hz – 20 kHz tone generator with sine, square, triangle and sawtooth waveforms — for testing headphones, checking your hearing range, or setting up speakers.

WHY CLEARWAVE
- A completely free speaker cleaner, with no ads anywhere in the app
- Works offline — no account, no sign-up
- The volume rises smoothly instead of blasting at full power
- Volume is limited automatically when headphones are connected
- Cleaning history, so you know when you last ran a cycle
- English, Russian and Uzbek
- Small download, light on the battery

HOW TO REMOVE WATER FROM YOUR SPEAKER
1. Take the case off
2. Turn the volume up — the app does this for you
3. Hold the phone with the speaker pointing down
4. Run a water eject cycle, wipe the water away, and repeat if the speaker still sounds muffled

PLEASE NOTE
ClearWave helps eject water sitting in the speaker opening. It cannot repair a speaker that is already damaged, and it is not a replacement for professional service if the phone has taken a serious soaking. Do not hold the phone against your ear while a cleaning cycle is playing.

ClearWave is free and stays free. If this speaker cleaner saved your phone, there is an optional tip inside the app — nothing is locked behind it.

What’s new

A calmer finish to every cleaning.

• When you tell us a cleaning worked, the app now simply thanks you. It no longer opens the support screen right on top of your answer.
• If you would like to support the app, that option now appears on a later cleaning instead — so finishing a clean stays out of your way.
