About this app

Family Live Map helps you access the local emergency number, check in with one tap and share location with your circle. No sign-up, email or password. No ads. Everyone joins by choice and can pause sharing at any time.
SOS, EVEN WITHOUT A CIRCLE
- Press SOS to open your phone’s dialer with the local emergency number for the country you’re in
- If you belong to a circle, its members also receive an alert with your location
- SOS is available without a subscription, even if you haven’t joined a circle
- Your circle SOS alert includes a 5-second countdown so you can cancel it before it is sent
- Your location stays live during the alert until you tap “I’m safe”, which clears the alert for everyone
- Family Live Map is not an emergency service and does not contact emergency services on your behalf
NO SIGN-UP, EMAIL OR PASSWORD
- Create a circle or join one by entering an invite code
- You don’t need to provide your name, email or phone number to get started
- Share location across Android and iPhone
CHECK IN WITH ONE TAP
- Tap “I’m here” to send your current address or a short note, such as “At Maria’s”
- Your circle receives a notification, and the check-in appears in Activity
- If you’re offline, your check-in sends when you reconnect
CALL FROM THE MAP
- Tap a family member on the map to call them directly

- Delete your data from Settings

- People join a circle by entering an invite code
- Pause sharing whenever you choose. Your circle can see that your location is paused
- Anyone can leave a circle at any time

- When a location is out of date, see how old it is and, when known, why it hasn’t updated
- Without a connection, you can still open the app and view the last known data
