About this app

Climber Map is an offline map of crags and climbs.

Download an area and it works without signal — the map, the routes, and the approaches are on your phone before you leave the trailhead. Your location shows on the map, so you can see where you are relative to the crags and find the way in.

Sport and trad routes are marked by discipline and grade, and you can search or filter to find a climb. There are photos of the walls where they help.

Areas are surveyed in the field rather than pulled from other sites, so the locations are accurate.

For now there's one area — Rumney, New Hampshire — with more being added.

No ads, no tracking, and your location never leaves your phone. Sign in with Google to get started.

What’s new

- Ticking a climb allows you to select how you climbed it: Onsight, Flash, Redpoint, Fell/hung, Follow, Top rope.
- Move left & right to different climbs from the fullscreen photo.
- Downloading a destination now includes photo thumbnails.
- A prompt offers a one-tap download of the destination you're looking at.
- Sort the filtered climb list by grade or by crag.
- The photo viewer no longer closes on a stray tap.
- Improved offline experience.
