When this app was initially introduced I liked it quite a lot; however at some point it just stopped functioning properly. It does not accurately tell me what my account funds are, and once a card is set up on your device you cannot transfer it. I find it a much smoother experience with a physical card, and adding funds over a browser.

Kind of useless, it requires a physical card to even use and makes it useless after registering. It seems like a waste of time and plastic. It's only good for automatically reloading the card, and using NFC. It's not very useful for occasional users and confusing to out of state travelers. It would be nice to be able to just install the app and use it without needing to bind to a physical card like other mass transit systems.

I noticed the developers updated the app on Jul 25, 2022. However, they didn't show what was done! With all the negative reviews, you think they would list what has changed? You would think this would be a priority! What improvement were made, what bugs were fixed. Can you try the app without losing access to your plastic card as a backup? Access to BART trains is often time sensitive and this would people to try the software. 7/2022 change didn't include a change from (2021) verson number.
