Mechanik Workshop is a gear-building puzzle game that challenges players to construct working mechanical systems from individual components. Each level presents a unique arrangement of pegs that must be connected by dragging and placing gears of varying sizes and tooth counts to form a continuous gear train from input to output.
The game features procedurally generated puzzles with escalating complexity, a timed challenge system that rewards speed and precision, and three difficulty modes that adjust both the number of components and available time. Progress is tracked through a persistent scoring system with high score records.
Beyond the core puzzle game, the app includes a curated collection of historical facts about mechanical engineering milestones spanning from the Antikythera Mechanism of ancient Greece to the industrial revolution. An interactive blueprint gallery visualizes classic gear configurations including simple trains, compound systems, planetary gearsets, differentials, and escapement mechanisms with real-time animated representations.
