About this game

Star Words is a fast neon word puzzle. Swipe across glowing letter tiles, spell words and beat the clock. No ads, no subscription, and the game plays offline, so you can take it anywhere.

HOW IT WORKS
Trace a path through touching letters (diagonals count!) and lift your finger to play the word. Longer words score more points, add precious seconds to the clock and leave special tiles behind on the board. Chain quick words into combos for a bigger score multiplier.

PLAY FIRST, UNLOCK ONCE
Download and play the Quick level straight away: a one-minute round with Bomb and Clock tiles. One in-app purchase unlocks everything: the Relaxed, Easy, Normal, Hard and Expert levels, four more special tiles and the ranked online leaderboards. No ads, no subscription.

SPECIAL TILES
• Bomb: blasts the tiles around it
• Clock: adds time
• Lightning: clears a whole row and column (full game)
• Multiplier: x2 or x3 on your word score (full game)
• Wildcard: counts as any letter (full game)
• Freeze: stops the clock (full game)
Chain them together for huge scores.

FEATURES

What’s new

Fairer leaderboards: in ranked rounds (hints off) the clock never stops, and the screen can't be captured or recorded. Rounds played with USB or wireless debugging switched on don't count for the leaderboards. The shuffle when no words are left is faster and keeps special tiles in place. The Instructions screen explains the new rules.
