Clear Fashion is an independent organization that informs you about fashion brands’ practices and their impact.
Using a science-based methodology, we assess brands and their clothing across 150 criteria grouped into four themes: Environment, Human, Health, and Animals.

Clear Fashion aggregates content from three types of contributors: users, independent actors, and transparent brands.
The more you use the app, the richer the information becomes.
By shopping consciously, you take part in the change — supporting brands that design and produce responsibly for people and the planet.

For each garment, the app provides an assessment based on composition, labels, brand practices, production locations, and audits.
Using the scan feature, simply (1) select the brand, (2) scan the barcode.
If the product isn’t in our database, take a photo of the composition label — you’ll instantly get the clothing’s score.
