About this game

Sliding Block Puzzle is a quiet, satisfying number game for a spare five minutes or a long winter evening.

Tiles numbered from 1 upwards sit in a grid with one empty square. Slide a neighbouring tile into the gap, again and again, until the numbers run in order. It sounds simple on a 5 x 5 board. It becomes a real puzzle on a 12 x 12.

What’s new

Here it is, the first release. The app arrives with 120 levels across six board sizes, from the friendly 5 x 5 up to the stubborn 12 x 12. The 5 x 5, 6 x 6 and 7 x 7 boards are free in full, and the bigger three give you five levels each to try.

A daily board is ready each morning, with a calendar and a streak to keep an eye on. Six seasonal events are lined up through the year, each one thirty boards long.
