1. Prologue: Failure is the mother of success... right?

The experiment was... almost perfect.

Gimdalf, the Archmage of Neptune, had an ambitious experiment for ‘Ultimate Magic’ that exploded a little... just a little bigger than expected.

In the dust pit, Gimdalf brushes himself off and stands up as if accustomed to it, muttering.

"Failure again today..."

2. Incident: The Universe Was Torn Apart

However, this accident was different from usual. The exploding magical energy went past the laboratory ceiling and pierced through the dimensional wall, and anomalous substances from the Void began pouring out through the rift.

The anomalous substances, devouring the scattered fragments of magical energy, evolved into hideous monsters and began infecting the entire planet.

3. Desperate Crisis: I Don't Want to Be a Magician!

The biggest problem lay elsewhere. The scattered magical energy remembered its master's energy and began to attract Gimdalf's own internal magical energy like a magnet!

If he loses all his magical power like this, the legendary Archmage is destined to become an ordinary magician who merely summons pigeons.

“Cosmic peace aside, I can’t just go around performing magic shows...”

4. Sortie: Reconstruction of Power and Annihilation

Kimdalf takes up his staff to reclaim his lost magical power, and (while he’s at it) to save the universe.

Absorb magical power during battle and reconstruct it into a stronger form.

As time passes, the enemy grows stronger.
