Kortext provides access to online and offline eBooks from multiple publishers, with enhanced in-built audio and video content, combined with tools to assist learners and academics to make the most of the content.
Features include:
- Easy navigation to content, providing quick access to pages
- Highlight extracts in a range of colours, enabling quick reference of key sections
- Add notes to content and share via email or OneNote, allowing notes from different books to be collated in one area
- Add a reference (Harvard or APA), making creation of bibliographies much easier
- Read Aloud sections, providing help with accessing content
- Increase text size, making it easier to view content

Ratings and reviews

The app struggles to turn pages, the search/highlight/pages bar disappears and doesn't come back unless I exit the book and reopen it. For being a mandatory book that I have to have for class that I bought (not rented), it's ridiculous that the program we are forced to read it on can't even perform basic functions. There isn't even a text size adjuster. My font is huge, and I can't change the size. The reader is also terrible and painfully robotic.

So much that's needed. First, the highlighting part is trash as it only allows you to do one word at a time. Second, the read out loud doesn't let you manually scroll to where you want it to be read. The voices are horrible and they glitch into a robot voice from time to time. Unless you just want to read without note taking or listening on-the-go, this app is mediocre. I should've just bought the physical textbook.

Where do I begin? This app is so frustrating to use and the worst part is I have to use it to even read my books for University. The worst part is that one of my books flat out refuses to load. I've tried deleting the book and doing it again, force closing the app, reinstalling and nothing works. I instead have to go to the web browser to use the website which is not ideal since you lose pretty much all features and the ability to select more than one word at a time to highlight.
