Night light, sleep sounds and a timer — from the phone already on your nightstand.
NightGlow turns the screen into a soft, adjustable night light for the bedroom, and adds the ambient sound to go with it. Warm light to read by, a gentle glow in a child's room, rain or brown noise to fall asleep to.
No lamp to buy, no outlet to find, no bulb to change.
🌙 LIGHT THAT BELONGS IN A BEDROOM
8 solid colors and 8 white tones, calibrated for night use rather than daylight. Warm amber keeps your eyes relaxed; a cool white is bright enough to read by.
The interface itself is pitch dark, because a night light that flashes a white menu at 3 a.m. defeats its own purpose.
🌊 EIGHT COLOR FLOWS
Sunset, Ocean, Forest, Berry, Ember, Lavender, Arctic and Dawn drift slowly from one shade into the next. You set how fast they move — a few seconds per color, or slow enough that you barely notice it changing.
NightGlow remembers the color or flow you used last, and keeps your recent picks at the top of the palette.
🎵 SLEEP SOUNDS AND WHITE NOISE
Six looping soundscapes to sleep or focus to: Rain, Ocean, Forest, White Noise, Brown Noise and Fan.
Volume is independent from the light, the sound keeps playing with the screen off, and it still works when the phone is on silent.
⚡ BRIGHTNESS BY SWIPE
Swipe up or down anywhere on the screen to change brightness without opening a menu — a small indicator shows the exact percentage while you do it. There is a slider too, for when you want to set it precisely.
⏰ A SLEEP TIMER THAT CLOSES THE APP
Set a duration and NightGlow shuts itself down when the time is up, so the light is not still burning at sunrise if you fall asleep first. The countdown can sit in the bottom bar where you can see it.
Until the timer runs out, the screen stays on. No display timeout interrupting a bedtime story.
💡 WHERE PEOPLE USE IT
• Reading in bed without waking the person next to you
• A child's night light and bedtime routine
• Night feeds, nursing and checking on a baby
• Meditation, yoga and winding down
• Dorm rooms, small apartments and hotel rooms
• Camping, and the hours after a power cut
🔋 EASY ON THE PHONE
The screen gives plenty of light for reading or finding your way, without the brightness a flashlight would waste. Dim it as far down as you like — a night light is supposed to be dim.
❓ QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK
Can I leave it on all night?
Yes — the display will not time out while NightGlow is open. If you would rather it did not run until morning, set the sleep timer and the app closes itself.
Will it drain the battery?
A dim screen on a dark background draws very little. Turn the brightness down, and keep the phone on the charger if you plan to leave the light on for hours.
Does the sound keep playing if I lock the screen?
Yes. The ambient sound continues in the background, and it plays even when the phone is set to silent.
Is it safe to use in a baby's room?
That is what the soft colors are for. Pick a warm tone at low brightness, leave the phone face up and out of reach, and let the timer switch it off on its own.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything runs on the device, sounds included.
Can it work as a reading light?
Choose one of the white tones near full brightness. It lights a page without lighting the whole room.
