About this app

Hoppa is a social discovery app that shows you what's happening where in your city today. The first city is Samsun.

THE PULSE OF THE CITY ON THE MAP
See shared check-ins on the map: today, this week, or only those you follow. Check-ins are verified on-site; live location is not shared.

CHECK IN
When you go somewhere, add your photo and a few words. The check-in only uses your location at that moment to verify your presence there. Location is not tracked in the background.

THE MOST FREQUENT VISITOR BECOMES THE HEADMAN
Go to a place on different days, become the headman of that place, and wear the crown on your profile.

EVENTS
See concerts, theater, and city events in Samsun all in one place. Say "I'm going," and don't miss the reminder.

PLACES AND PLANS
Explore the city's places, from the beach to museums, from cafes to viewpoints. Make dated plans, invite your friends, and save your favorite plans.

MY PASSPORT AND TRAVEL RECORD
Location-verified provinces and stamps accumulate in your passport. Your Travel Record only views the location information of your photos on your device; only the list of provinces is sent to the server.

MY NOTEBOOK
Keep notes and travel records for yourself. "Only me" content is not visible to others.

Share your check-in, plan, passport, or travel record as an Instagram Story with a single touch.

PRIVACY IS YOURS
Choose a public or private account; with a private account, you approve follow requests. Block unwanted people, report inappropriate content. No ads, no advertising ID, no data for sale. You can delete your account from within the app.

You must be 18 years old to use Hoppa. You log in with your Google account; you can also start exploring without logging in.
