CloutBout is the app where you bet your reputation on any claim — no money involved. Make a claim. Anyone can challenge it. Win, your record goes up. Lose, your record takes a hit. Every bet is public.
This isn't sports betting. There's no real-money wager, no buy-in, no withdrawals. You stake clout — a public score that everyone sees. The cost of running your mouth is being known to have run your mouth.
WHAT YOU CAN BET ON
- Sports claims — pick any real game, call the outcome, stake your clout. Results pull from live data. No debates.
- Free-form claims — predict literally anything. "I'll wake up before you tomorrow." "My team wins the championship." "The Knicks miss the playoffs again." If someone accepts, you're both locked in.
- Open claims — post a claim and pick an expiry: 6 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, or 1 week. If nobody accepts in time, your stake refunds automatically. You can also cancel an open claim anytime before it's matched.
DECLARING OUTCOMES
For sports bets, the game's final result determines the winner — no human judgment needed. For free-form bets, both players declare what happened. Agree? Winner takes the clout. Disagree? A 3-day cooldown automatically voids the bet and refunds both players.
THE LEADERBOARD
Every claim, every win, every loss is on your profile forever. Climb the ranks: Rookie → Contender → Veteran → Pro → GOAT. There's no hiding from a bad prediction. There's also no faking a good one.
